Solo: (July 2006 – Present)

I am an experienced blues musician who has drawn comparisons with the likes of Freddie King, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy. I play with my blues band, Tom Caswell Band, in the style of Freddie King, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman and Chicago style blues bands. I also play solo acoustic and electric sets in the style of Mississippi bluesmen Robert Johnson and Son House. I take my songwriting inspirations from George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and various other 1960’s artists.

In February 2016 I released by debut originals EP called September 22nd with the follow up coming in 2017.

The Pimpernels: (February 2017 – Present)

The Pimpernels are a jam band (and my brainchild) who merge pure blues with rock with inspiration including Cream, The Allman Brothers Band and the Grateful Dead as well as countless other late-60’s/early 70’s jam bands. The band membership is ever changing and consists of a number of different musicians both on record and on stage.

The aim of The Pimpernels is to put music first and let the playing do all the talking. No distractions, nothing that shouldn’t be there. Our drive is to create music, improvise and explore music like never before.

Drivin’ Sideways: (June 2015 – February 2017)

I was a member of a blues covers band in one of Oxfordshire’s most explosive blues acts, Drivin’ Sideways. With influences ranging from John Lee Hooker to Eric Clapton and Junior Wells to Buddy Guy, the band never failed to get the club a rockin’ with a collection of high standard blues and rock numbers.
