A couple of weeks after Noel Gallagher dropped the first song from his next album, another one has arrived. This track is called Fort Knox and opens the album in spectacular fashion. The song pushes his new sound and the song itself could be from a film soundtrack. I’m not the biggest fan of the Gallagher brothers, in fact I’d go as far as saying that I detest Oasis. What can I say? It was either Blur or Oasis and I was and will always be 100% Blur. But after hearing Noel Gallagher’s latest single from his upcoming album Who Built The Moon? I may be finally ready to listen to their music. Well, Noel’s solo music anyway. Well, here we go, the second song from the next Foo Fighters album has been released and it’s…lacking. They’ve long been one of my favourite bands but this song just doesn’t do it for me. Take a listen for yourself:
The third single from Chuck Berry’s upcoming new album Chuck is an incredible song called Lady B. Goode which certainly takes you back to Berry’s early days of the late 50’s. The guitars are rockin’, the groove is rollin’, check it out!
John Mayer’s first single since 2013 has dropped (not counting XO in 2014) and it’s like that country period that included his two previous studio albums never happened. Not that I dislike that period in any way at all of course, but this new single takes Mayer back to his brilliant pop music best. Take a listen:
