I was at one of the late shows for the Allman Brothers at the Fillmore east album recordings, what a great night, was a senior in “get high” school,we bought the cheap tickets & snuck up like we always did, front row center for opening act Elvin Bishop who was great, then the Allman Bros, we got bumped back about 5 rows & we were up dancing & people were actually telling us to sit down, the usher came & told ius to sit when I said,This is the fuckin Fillmore East, tell them to get up,,well he agreed & motioned for all behind us to get up which they did,,Johnny Winter End was the final act,,man what a great night, I still tell people this is one of my all time great shows

Hi, I am 62, and was raised on all the good music. I wore out copies of Fresh Cream, Moody Blues, Zappa ‘Whe’re Only In It For The money’, Beatles etc. In all my years, I have never heard anything that can equal ‘i’m so Glad’ from Goodbye………..There is no video is there……..I could write and talk forever. Good choice ‘Derek & The Dominos’ like the best Gentile R&R…..very very straight……………I was in the same class, Commack High School South 1971 as Al DiPerna…writer for Roling Stone…………Thanks

Does your book go into the relationship between Eric and Bobby Whitlock ????? They wrote some great songs and it seems that Eric turned his back on Bobby which I find very sad. Just think of all the music could have penned together in the last 40+ years. Kindly andive and Thanks

So sorry I can’t listen to your tracks in the US due to copyright issues. I listened to Abbey Road before it was taken down. You just don’t get that complexity and nuanced harmony with the new groups. Wish there was a way to listen to your audio files without going to UK. Although, that’s not an all bad idea. I was there once before and loved it.
