Paul McCartney & Wings Isolated Vocal Track: Hi, Hi, Hi

Released as a double A-side single with C Moon on the 1st December 1972, Hi, Hi, Hi saw Paul McCartney & Wings take a rockier musical direction compared to their previous album Wild Life. McCartney’s vocals are one of many things that stand out on this track so hearing them in isolated form is incredible, which you can do right now. Take a listen:

Due to a number of suggestive lyrics, the BBC banned the song in the UK upon release. This doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s one of the best songs McCartney wrote during this particular period of his career with the music really driving the song forward. However it’s his vocals that have always hit me the hardest when I listen to the song. He really sounds great.
