The Jimi Hendrix Experience Isolated Guitar Track: The Wind Cries Mary

One of my favourite Hendrix tracks is The Wind Cries Mary due to the gorgeous guitar playing from Hendrix. It’s difficult to describe the beauty in his playing from the thick chords to the guild guitar solo that lights up the song. What we have below is the full isolated guitars in a single track, stripped bare of bass and drums.

Take a listen:

The tones and sounds Hendrix creates in this one track sums up his career with the Experience perfectly. The song is up there with the best he ever wrote and recorded and his guitar tone is one of the main reasons for that. Absolutely gorgeous.

really, really nice….This is my favorite song ever and I’ve been listening to this song for what…. almost 50 years now? Really humanizes Mr. Hendrix. Heard this way you hear the tracks weren’t perfect… Maybe not even great compared to what the imitators can do now a days. He was the best guitarist ever but here they are just a guy and a guitar who put it all together beautifully.
