Along with Something and While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes The Sun is one of George Harrison’s most recognised songs during his time with The Beatles. Written in Eric Clapton’s garden at his home in Surrey, the song was then recorded at Abbey Road studios in July and August 1969 for their final album. What we have here is the isolated acoustic guitar track in all it’s glory.
Have a listen:
Due to the car crash John had been involved in, he didn’t feature at all on the song with George playing most of the instruments. But it’s great to hear that fantastic acoustic guitar by itself here. It’s an iconic riff not only in the way it’s played but the sound of the guitar as well. You just know it’s Here Comes The Sun.
